I have been so busy taking photos for other challenges that it’s been ages since I’ve been for a phramble with no objective other than to enjoy taking pictures of somewhere I like. Seoul’s Namsan park is definitely a great area for photos. There are a range of viewpoints from the winding trails leading to the tower at the top, trails I eschewed in favour of the route around the north side of the mountain with it’s flowers and streams.

Starting from Dongguk University subway station, there’s a pleasant ten minute stroll past the university, through a park, and up to the National Theatre of Korea where the walking trails begin.

These photos are from the park by the subway station, the route from the National Theatre to the Myeongdong cable cars exit, and the road down from the park towards Namdaemun market on the other side.

Is there an area of your hometown that you love to revisit?

Happy snapping, folks.
